James Hicks

It is with heavy hearts we post this comment from our President Wendy Boone concerning a member who will be missed.

From Wendy:

My wonderful friend James Louis Hicks has passed away. My head is thinking he was just here and my heart is asking how can this be?

He has been a part of my life for 15 years. I met him when the Woodbridge Rotary Club began collaborating with the New Dominion Choraliers on events and he and I continued to work together on many occasions. He became a dear friend who I could always depend on. Jim was there for me when my family started the Charlie Boone Trails Memorial Foundation and became a member of our Board of Directors and did our printing at DEP. He will always be in my heart . God bless you, Lisa, and your beautiful family. You are in my prayers.

Dan Corris

It is with sadness we announce the loss of our dear friend, Daniel Corris. He worked with us closely at CBTMF to help enrich our vision of a bike and skate park. He leaves his touch in many little details, though his large contribution was his vision of how the park should be designed. With his artistic vision of how the park should be laid out, Pillar Design Studios graciously provided a much needed, professional drawing of that vision in his memory.
